How the two-session calendar usually runs
- Registration opens around the end of October and stays open for roughly four weeks.
- A short correction window follows the closing date, for selected fields only.
- The exam city intimation slip comes first, then the admit card three to four days before your exam date.
- Session 1 results come within about two to three weeks of the last paper; Session 2 results within about ten to twelve days.
- A candidate may apply for Session 2 using the same application number, or apply only for Session 2 when that window opens.
Do not treat 2027 dates as final
The January 2027 schedule is a reported tentative calendar. Keep the whole 22-31 January window free, avoid booking travel until the admit card is out, and verify everything on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Can I get a re-test if I miss my shift?
No. The 2026 bulletin says no re-test is provided under any circumstances for candidates who cannot appear on their scheduled date and shift.
