What JKCET is
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) holds JKCET once a year for admission to B.E./B.Tech programmes. The test is a single paper in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics based on the JKBOSE class 11 and 12 syllabus, and the rank decides counselling by JKBOPEE.
Candidates also need to be J&K domicile holders. Seats are filled through online counselling with choice filling run by JKBOPEE across several rounds, followed by special rounds for vacant seats.
Verify with the brochure
On 18 October 2026 the JKBOPEE notification list confirmed the 2026 notice dates, but the brochure PDF could not be opened, so pattern, fee and eligibility figures come from news and exam portals that sometimes disagree. Where they conflict, this page says so.
