MZUEEE 2027: Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern

Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official Mizoram University, Aizawl notices

MZUEEE is a university-level entrance test for B.Tech at Mizoram University. It is not a state-wide counselling exam like KEAM or WBJEE, and only a part of the B.Tech seats go through it.

About MZUEEE

MZUEEE is the engineering entrance examination of Mizoram University in Aizawl, used to fill part of the seats in its B.Tech programmes. It suits students with Class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics who want a regular-entry seat, and diploma holders who want lateral entry into the third semester. The 2026 paper was an offline test of two hours, held on 2 June 2026 at Aizawl with an additional centre at Guwahati, and the result came out the next day. Branches offered were ECE, IT, Computer, Electrical and Civil Engineering. The 2027 notification has not been published, so check mzu.edu.in for fresh dates.

What MZUEEE is

Mizoram University admits students to the first semester of its four-year B.Tech programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. For 2026 the university invited applications through its own online admission portal, and the entrance test was held at the university campus in Aizawl and in Guwahati.

A separate lateral entry stream admits three-year diploma holders in a relevant branch directly into the third semester, subject to seat availability. The same test day and result announcement covered both streams in 2026.

Two routes into B.Tech at MZU

Candidates who do not take MZUEEE can still reach the university through JEE Main and CSAB counselling. Third-party sites say roughly half the seats go through each route and put the total near 96 seats, but the official 2026 notice that we read does not print a seat split, so check the brochure for the current figures.
