Is there an IKGPTU exam?
No. IKGPTU does not conduct an entrance test for B.Tech. Candidates apply for centralised counselling, and the Punjab Government notification for 2026-27 says admission is made on the inter-se merit of the qualifying examination for both the 85 percent Punjab quota and the 15 percent outside-Punjab quota. Some third-party pages describe a JEE Main route; we found no JEE Main provision in the official notification.
Because there is no paper, this page has no pattern, syllabus or admit card tab. What counts is your Class 12 result; JEE Main is useful as a back-up for other counselling.
