Which exam is it, NPAT or NCET?

Some older pages and a few coaching sites still say that B.Tech admission at NMIMS is through NPAT. The official NCET site (ncet.nmims.edu) names the NMIMS Common Entrance Test, NCET, for Engineering and Pharmacy programmes. NPAT is used for the management, commerce, science and similar programmes. For B.Tech, plan on NCET and confirm on the NMIMS site.

The site lists three programmes: B.Tech + MBA (MBA Tech), a five-year dual degree; B.Tech, a four-year degree; and B.Pharm + MBA (Pharma Tech), a five-year dual degree.

JEE Main and other scores

Third-party sources disagree on whether JEE Main is accepted at some campuses, with some saying it is not accepted and others saying it is accepted for Shirpur or for leftover seats. Reports also say international and NRI candidates may use SAT or ACT scores. We could not confirm this from the pages we could read, so check the handout.

Verify the route

NMIMS is reported to offer no management quota or direct admission for B.Tech. If any agent offers one, ask for it in writing from the NMIMS admissions office.
