What TJEE is

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, set up under the Directorate of Higher Education, prepares a common merit list through TJEE. Seats in engineering, technological, veterinary, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, paramedical and other professional degree courses that are reserved for the state of Tripura are then filled by online counselling from this list.

The Board is also called TBJEE, and the exam is often called TBJEE in the press. The test is not a gateway to NEET medical seats or to IIT and NIT seats, which are filled by NEET UG and JoSAA. TJEE covers the seats that the Board receives from sponsoring departments and institutions.
