How merit and ties work

  • Rank is based on marks in the subjects of your group, 360 in total.
  • Tie-break for PCM: higher P+C+M, then higher P+M, then higher Maths, then the older candidate by date of birth.
  • Tie-break for PCB: higher P+C+B, then higher C+B, then higher Biology, then date of birth.
  • A percentile score is published along with the rank.
  • The Board has no post-publication review or re-evaluation of OMR sheets.
