Tripura JEE 2027 Counselling
Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination notices
Seats are allotted by online counselling run by TBJEE in several rounds, followed by offline and spot rounds. The 2026 process is the reference.
Counselling steps
- 1
Register for counselling
In 2026 registration ran from 5 June and was extended. Upload the Class 12 mark sheet, PRTC, caste, PwD and ESM certificates if not already uploaded, and enter total marks out of 500 plus subject marks.
- 2
Board scrutiny
The Board checks documents. Rejected candidates cannot fill choices.
- 3
Choice filling
Accepted candidates list courses and institutes in order of preference using the published seat matrix.
- 4
Allotment
Seats go by merit rank and choices. There is no wait list; fresh counselling rounds are held as needed.
- 5
Accept or surrender
Accept the seat by the notified date or it is cancelled automatically. A PCB seat must be surrendered to join first-round PCM counselling and cannot be restored.
- 6
Offline rounds and nomination
Later rounds, including offline second round and a spot round, were held in 2026. The sponsoring department then nominates you to the institute.
Rules to remember
- Registration and choice filling are mandatory in round one; if you register but do not fill choices you cannot join later rounds unless the Board allows it on valid grounds.
- If you get a seat through TJEE in the current year you will not be considered again unless you surrender it.
- Carry original documents plus self-attested copies when called.
- Admission is subject to the eligibility and cut-off rules of the college or university that sponsors the seat.
Courses and fees
The Board publishes a course fee document and seat matrices on its website. Courses on offer in 2026 included B.Tech streams at TIT Narsingarh and ICFAI University Tripura, seats at Nagaland University, and PCB courses such as B.Pharm, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Sc Agriculture and community science programmes at institutes across the North-East. Fee amounts differ by institute, so read the 2026 course fee PDF and the 2027 version when released.
