Is there a Manipur engineering entrance exam?
No common state level test for B.Tech was found for Manipur. For the 2026-27 session, Manipur Technical University published its own admission notice. Applications for both JEE and non-JEE candidates opened on 11 May 2026. Preference was given to candidates who had appeared in JEE Main 2026 and could produce a score card. Candidates without JEE Main took an MTU entrance test for the seats left.
A JEE Main score is therefore the simplest way in, but it is not strictly compulsory under the 2026 notice.
