Is there a JCECE engineering exam?
The official JCECEB notice dated 23 June 2026 invites online applications from candidates having a rank in JEE Main 2026 so that the board can prepare a State Merit List for counselling in B.E./B.Tech courses of Jharkhand engineering institutes. The merit list is made from the JEE Main 2026 result and the category and PwD claims in the application, so engineering aspirants did not write a state paper.
Third-party sites also mention a JCECE or JEECE written test, and say it is for a few courses such as B.Tech Dairy Technology and Agricultural Engineering. We could not verify that in an official notice and found conflicting exam dates across sites, so this page gives no pattern or syllabus for it. Check the board's examination notices if you are applying for those courses.
