For 2026 JCECEB invited applications from candidates with a JEE Main 2026 rank to prepare a State Merit List for B.E./B.Tech counselling in Jharkhand. There was no separate written test for these seats.

There is no separate B.E./B.Tech entrance paper for the JEE Main based State Merit List, so there is no JCECE pattern to follow.
No separate paper
The board prepares the State Merit List from the JEE Main 2026 result and the claims you made in the online application. Marks, sections and negative marking are therefore those of JEE Main, which is held by the National Testing Agency.
Aggregator sites describe a JCECE or JEECE written test with 150 multiple choice questions and quarter mark negative marking, and give dates that disagree with one another. None of this appears in the official engineering notice, so we have not listed it as a pattern here. If you need a written test for a specific course such as agriculture based B.Tech, read that course's notice on the board site.
