How the two sessions work
- Session 1 and Session 2 are separated by a gap of a few weeks. You pick the city preference at the time of application, then book the exact date and slot in a short booking window.
- Each test day runs two slots, 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- If you miss the slot booking window, the system allots a date and slot automatically from your preferences and the availability.
- You can choose Session 1 or Both at the first application. Applying for only Session 2 is possible only in the second application window.
What to watch for in the 2027 cycle
BITS publishes its schedule on admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in and its dates are explicitly marked tentative in the brochure, so changes between brochure and portal do happen (the Session 2 dates above are an example). Treat the portal's landing page as the final word and avoid third-party calendars that quote dates not on the official site.
