MHT CET 2027 Cutoff
Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell notices
MHT CET cutoffs are percentile based and vary by college, branch, category and CAP round. Official per-college cutoffs are published after each round as PDFs on the CAP portal (fe2026.mahacet.org carries the 2023 to 2026 files).
Qualifying cutoff
The CET Cell does not set a single pass percentile in the brochure we read. Eligibility depends on Class 12 marks and CAP criteria. We have not quoted category-wise qualifying percentiles because the CAP brochure sets eligibility by Class 12 marks, not by a CET percentile.
What a CAP cutoff means
- After every CAP round, the engineering admission portal lists round-wise allotment status with cut-offs (merit number and percentile) for each college and course.
- Cutoffs vary by seat type: Home University, Other than Home University and State Level, and by category.
- A lower round-1 cutoff usually rises in later rounds as better seats open up. The cutoff is the last allotted candidate's merit in that round.

Other categories, Home University seats, ladies seats and later rounds have different values.
How to read cutoffs
Look at closing percentile and merit number for your category and seat type. Compare 2 to 3 years, since normalisation, seat counts and exam difficulty change. Keep a mix of safe and reach options in your option form.
Figures not listed
The table above covers only six computer branches in one category and one round. Use the full CAP portal cutoff PDFs for other branches, categories and rounds.
