Corrections and mistakes

Common mistakes

Mismatch between Aadhaar and school records, an unreachable email or mobile, picking the wrong language medium, filing more than one form, and uploading a photo that fails the specification. Incomplete forms are rejected.

Frequently asked questions

Is Aadhaar mandatory?

For 2026 the Cell used Aadhaar authentication and APAAR ID verification during registration.

Can I change the group later?

No. The brochure says the option once exercised will not be altered.
