UPTAC 2027
Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC)
UPTAC is not an entrance exam. It is the AKTU-run online counselling that allots B.Tech and other technical seats in Uttar Pradesh, using JEE Main ranks for engineering (UPSEE no longer exists). This hub covers the dates, fees, eligibility, rounds and documents.

Why the 2027 dates are uncertain
UPTAC cannot start before JEE Main results are out. It also typically runs alongside JoSAA, so AKTU's dates move with the JoSAA schedule and NTA's results.
The 2026 sources conflict by a few days in places. Treat the portal notice as final.

When does UPTAC 2027 start?
Not announced yet. In 2026 registration began on 25 May, so late May or June 2027 is expected, but unconfirmed.
