CUET UG 2027 Counselling
Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official National Testing Agency notices
There is no single CUET counselling. Each university runs its own admission process after the result.
How admission happens
After the result, participating universities open their own portals. Delhi University uses the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) in phases: Phase 1 registration and programme or college choice, Phase 2 preference filling, and then seat allocation rounds with acceptance and fee payment. Other central universities have their own portals and merit lists.
For DU UG in 2026, reports put the Phase 1 registration window from late June to 11 July, Phase 2 from 3 July, and Round 1 allocation on 16 July 2026, with a later mid-entry window in August. These dates are from secondary sources and should be checked on ugadmission.uod.ac.in.
- Register on the university portal and upload documents.
- Fill programme and college preferences in order.
- Accept the allotted seat and pay the fee within the time given, otherwise the seat may be lost.
- Keep CUET scorecard, Class 12 marksheet and category certificates ready.
If you also want B.Tech
B.Tech through IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs is filled by JoSAA, with CSAB for later rounds. You can take part in both processes at the same time, but remember that accepting a seat in one place can involve fees and withdrawal rules. Read each process rule before you accept.
