What to carry and check

The 2026 bulletin says the city of examination is announced first and the admit card later, both on the NTA site. Exact dates are announced only during the cycle, so we cannot give a date for 2027. Also note that the admit card only permits you to sit the exam; the bulletin says it does not mean your eligibility is accepted.

  • Printed admit card and a valid photo ID, as listed in the bulletin.
  • Check name, photograph, subjects, shift, date, reporting time and centre address.
  • Report to NTA through the helpline given on the site if there is any mismatch; do not wait until exam day.
  • Prohibited items such as phones, smart watches and study material are not allowed. Centres use metal detectors.
