Choosing papers for B.Sc and B.Tech-linked goals

A candidate can take a maximum of five papers. Check the programme page of every university you want, because each has its own list of accepted subjects. For a B.Sc (Hons) in a science subject, universities usually ask for the matching domain paper, such as Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics, and often a language and the General Aptitude Test as well.

Fees rise with each paper beyond three, so choose papers by looking at your target university lists first, not by adding extra papers.

2026 registration was extended

In 2026 the original last date of 30 January was extended and the window was reopened from 23 to 26 February, and a subject change window was reported in April. Do not rely on extensions; apply in the first window.
