What the scorecard shows
Reports describing the 2026 scorecard mention the candidate name, application number, score obtained, rank and qualifying status. SRM's FAQ says candidates check their rank on the Admission Portal using application number and date of birth.
How the rank is used
SRM allots the campus, programme and specialisation on the basis of SRMJEEE rank, the qualifying examination and other admission criteria. SRM has not published a tie-break rule in the FAQ, so do not rely on third-party claims.
The FAQ treats each phase as separate for counselling. If you take more than one phase, check the portal to see how your ranks across phases are handled in the year you apply, rather than assuming a best-of rule.
Result dates for 2026 were reported as 5 May (Phase 1), 22 June (Phase 2) and 9 July (Phase 3). These come from news sources, not from SRM's FAQ.
