SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE)
SRMJEEE is the university entrance test SRM Institute of Science and Technology uses to admit students to B.Tech programmes. In 2026 it was held in three remote-proctored online phases, with a separate application and separate counselling for each phase.

SRMJEEE applications are online only, and a fresh application with its own fee is needed for every phase you want to take.
How to apply

Register
Create an account on the SRMIST B.Tech admission portal. Keep your Class 10 mark statement ready because registration number and other details are asked.

Verify email
Use an email you will keep, because SRM uses it for all admission correspondence and says it cannot be changed later.

Fill the application form
Enter personal, academic and programme preference details. The preference is only for statistics.

Upload photo and signature
SRM's FAQ lists a photo image and a signature image as the documents to upload.

Pay the fee
Pay online by debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking. If the status shows pending, wait 24 hours.

Book your slot
After applying, book a convenient slot when booking opens and download the hall ticket.

Take the mock test
SRM provides a mock test before the main exam so you can check the system and interface.

Some third-party sites list ₹1,200 or ₹600; the SRM FAQ states ₹1,400 for each phase.
Documents and uploads
SRM's FAQs do not publish exact file sizes or pixel dimensions for the photo and signature, so check the upload screen of the portal for the current limits.

Corrections
SRM's FAQ says to post a query under the Form Correction category on the portal to request any edit after submission. There is no fixed correction window mentioned in the FAQ.
Common mistakes
Using a temporary email, applying for the wrong phase, missing the last date, and assuming the branch preference in the form is final. The real choice is made at counselling.
