Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry
CENTAC is the Puducherry single window counselling body. It runs no entrance exam of its own. For B.Tech, Puducherry candidates are ranked on Class 12 marks and other-state candidates on JEE Main 2026 scores, followed by online counselling.

Seat categories
Government quota vertical reservation for the Puducherry, Karaikal and Yanam regions per the 2026 Part I brochure: Open 50 percent, OBC 11 percent, BCM 2 percent, MBC 18 percent, EBC 2 percent, BT 0.5 percent, SC 16 percent, ST 0.5 percent (Mahe has different shares). Horizontal reservation: freedom fighter wards 4 percent, PwD 5 percent, ex-servicemen 3 percent, meritorious sports persons 1 percent and government school students 10 percent. Regional quota for Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam is 18, 4 and 3 percent of seats in government professional colleges.

CENTAC revised the fee structure for Women's Engineering College B.Tech on 10 June 2026. Fees for other colleges are in the brochure. Check the fee notice before paying.
