Test conditions
- Remote proctored, so a webcam and a quiet room are required.
- Login window 10 am to 2 pm, 2 hour timer from login.
- About 57 seconds per question, so speed matters.
- The UPES Candidate Guide confirms there is no negative marking. Portals report 1 mark per question (125 in total), which UPES does not print.
- Older or offline-mode pattern pages mention 200 questions over 3 hours with a Current Affairs section. These appear outdated; the 2027 page lists the 125 question pattern.
- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or Biology) carry 35 questions each, so 105 of 125 marks come from science and maths.
