UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT)
UPESEAT is the entrance test of UPES Dehradun for B.Tech. It is a 125 question, 2 hour online test, and UPES also accepts JEE Main, SAT, board merit or CUET-UG as alternate routes.

Admit card and passkey
Reports for 2026 say admit cards were released on the UPES website to candidates who applied before the deadline. For the 2027 page, UPES says login passkeys are sent one day before the exam.
Keep the passkey, registration details and a photo ID ready, and log in only within the window of 10 am to 2 pm on your slot day.
Checklist
- Complete the demo test beforehand.
- Disable notifications and other programs on the device.
- Do not leave the camera view during the test.
Slot and timing
- Book your exam phase and slot first, then wait for the passkey, which UPES sends one day before the exam.
- The login window is 10 am to 2 pm and the 2 hour timer starts at login, so log in early enough to finish before the window closes.
- Older reports mention an admit card showing date, time and centre address for centre-based tests; for the online test the passkey is the main entry detail.
