Slot confirmation and login
After registration and fee payment you book a slot on the LPU portal. The slot confirmation and exam instructions are shared on the portal and by email. Remote proctored candidates log in at the booked time and follow the camera and screen sharing rules.
Remote proctored mode needs two devices, a laptop or desktop plus a smartphone, and at least 1 Mbps internet, per the LPU how-to-apply page; you cannot switch to a test centre after choosing it. The hall ticket for university-booked slots is generated about 48 hours after the application is received. Test centre candidates should carry the slot confirmation and a valid photo ID. If a slot is missed, LPU rules decide whether a rebooking is allowed, so read the guidelines PDF on the LPU site. LPU charges Rs 200 to process a Second Chance request (re-sit to raise a scholarship, or after missing or not qualifying) and Rs 450 to change the test date or centre, with the slot allotted by the university.
Before exam day
- Run the system check provided by LPU.
- Keep a charged laptop, webcam and a backup internet source.
- Sit in a quiet, well-lit room with no other person.
