KCET 2027 Cutoff

Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official Karnataka Examinations Authority notices

KCET has no single qualifying cut-off for most courses. Seats go by rank, category and round-wise closing ranks.

Qualifying marks

The 2026 bulletin states that for several courses (B.Pharm, Pharm.D and B.Sc Nursing among them) no minimum marks are prescribed in CET. Eligibility depends on the percentage in the qualifying exam, covered in the Eligibility tab. Kannada Language Test candidates must score a minimum of 12 marks in that test to be considered for ranks.

How closing ranks work

  • Closing rank is the last rank allotted in a college, branch and category in a round.
  • Category codes combine reservation and region, for example GM, 2AG, SCR (rural), 3BK (Kannada), and a K suffix for Kalyana Karnataka candidates.
  • Closing ranks differ round to round, so use the round you plan to fill options for.

Where to find official data

KEA's cut-off page (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/cutoff.aspx) lists official cut-off rank PDFs only up to 2017 and links to a separate cut-off analyser. We could not retrieve a 2026 round-wise closing rank file from the official site, so no rank table is reproduced here. See the site's KCET round-wise guides for analysis.

Choice entry decisions should use KEA's own cut-off lists for each round, not predictors alone.
