Source: HITS apply portal, HITSEEE 2026 pattern. The university eligibility page separately says 120 questions covering Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 2 hours, and many aggregators list 40 questions per science subject; the apply portal split of 30 each with English and Aptitude is the latest official statement. Per-question marks are not printed; 120 marks over 120 questions implies 1 each.
B.Arch and B.Des
B.Arch needs a NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 score instead of the HITSEEE PCM paper as per the portal eligibility. B.Des is open to any stream, so check the portal on whether a different paper or selection method applies to design applicants.
Attempt strategy
With no negative marking stated on the apply portal, answer every question. Candidates can usually move between sections freely, so start with the section you are strongest in.
