Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE)
HITSEEE is the entrance test of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, for B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Des. In the 2026 cycle applications opened on 5 November 2025 and the online test ran from 27 April to 2 May 2026.

Scholarships
HITS gives tuition fee waivers by HITSEEE rank, and to state or central board toppers. Slabs reported by aggregators differ: Shiksha lists 100% for ranks 1 to 25, 75% for 26 to 50 and 50% for 51 to 100, while Collegedunia lists a different split. HITS can change the slabs per batch, so rely on the official notification.
The portal also lists a separate sports scholarship selection notice for 2026.
Fees
Aggregators report a B.Tech tuition fee of Rs 9.2 lakh for four years before scholarship and a hostel cost extra, but HITS has not been seen publishing these figures on the pages we could read. Check the official fee structure.
