CSAB 2027

Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) Counselling for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs

CSAB runs the Special Rounds that fill NIT, IIIT and GFTI seats left vacant after JoSAA, plus supernumerary and NEUT rounds. In 2026 the Special Rounds were held from 28 July to 18 August.

After its 4 September 2026 meeting CSAB said candidates whose seats were cancelled for not meeting the Class XII minimum could submit improved marksheets by 10 September 2026, 5 pm, for reconsideration, subject to Ministry of Education approval.

All times are IST and the schedule is strict; there are no exceptions after deadlines.
Registration done on the JoSAA portal is not valid. Candidates must register afresh on csab.nic.in.
CSAB can revise dates, so confirm each deadline on csab.nic.in.
