Implication
With no negative marking you should attempt every question. Accuracy and speed matter because there are 150 questions in about three hours.
Time per question
At 150 questions in 180 minutes you have about 72 seconds per question, or 60 minutes per subject if you split time evenly. The paper is a single OMR booklet, so you can move between subjects freely and should not spend more than two minutes on any one question in the first pass.
How the paper differs from JEE Main
- Every question is a single mark and no marks are deducted, so there is no reason to leave a blank.
- The syllabus follows the Chhattisgarh Board Class 11 and 12 courses, so the state textbooks matter alongside NCERT.
- Mathematics also includes statistics, numerical methods and information technology topics, as reported.
