Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for B.Tech admission in Assam, conducted by ASTU
Assam CEE is the state entrance test that ASTU holds for B.Tech admission in Assam. This hub follows the official CEE 2026 information brochure: 120 questions, 480 marks, exam on 14 June 2026, with counselling run separately by DTE Assam.

How the rank is made
The rank is based on the total marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Ties are broken in this order: higher marks in Mathematics, then Physics, then Chemistry, then date of birth, then alphabetical order of name.

Answer key and challenges
- The provisional answer key goes up the evening of the exam, after 6 p.m.
- Challenges are online only, within 48 hours of the link opening, with Rs 500 per question refunded if upheld.
- The result is compiled from the final answer key.
- There is no re-evaluation of OMR sheets.
Qualifying marks
News sites reported minimum qualifying scores of 216 out of 480 (45%) for General, OBC and EWS and 192 out of 480 (40%) for SC, ST and PwD in 2026. These follow the 45% and 40% eligibility rule but we have not found them stated in the brochure, so confirm on the rank card notice.
