Assam CEE 2027 Preparation
Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official Assam Science and Technology University notices
A 480-mark paper from the higher secondary syllabus rewards accuracy, because every wrong answer costs a mark.
Strategy
- Cover the Assam board textbooks fully first; the paper follows that syllabus.
- Practise OMR-style bubbling with a black ball point pen. There is no provision for rechecking.
- Equal weight to all three subjects: 40 questions each.
- Attempt a question only when you can eliminate at least one option, as a wrong answer costs 1 mark against 4 for a correct one.
- Solve previous CEE papers and timed mocks for 3 hours.
Study plan
| Phase | Focus |
|---|---|
| Months 1 to 3 | Class 11 chapters with board textbooks |
| Months 4 to 5 | Class 12 chapters and numericals |
| Final 6 weeks | Previous papers, mock tests and error log |
Parallel exams
Most Assam students also write JEE Main. Preparing for it covers most of the CEE syllabus, but CEE is easier and keyed to the state board, so spend extra time on board-specific topics.
