Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for B.Tech admission in Assam, conducted by ASTU
Assam CEE is the state entrance test that ASTU holds for B.Tech admission in Assam. This hub follows the official CEE 2026 information brochure: 120 questions, 480 marks, exam on 14 June 2026, with counselling run separately by DTE Assam.

Steps to apply

Read the brochure
Download the information brochure from astu.ac.in and check eligibility, since ASTU does not verify certificates at the application stage.

Register
Use a valid mobile number and email. The same details must stay unchanged until counselling is over.

Fill the form
Enter personal, category and qualification details. Data can be edited only until the last date; no correction is allowed afterwards.

Upload images
Photograph 25 to 35 KB (JPG/JPEG, 250 to 350 px high, 150 to 220 px wide, taken within two months); signature 15 to 30 KB (100 to 180 px high, 150 to 220 px wide).

Pay the fee
Pay online by debit card, credit card or net banking, only through the link on the ASTU portal.

Save the confirmation page
Print the application form; it must be produced at counselling.

Some third-party sites quote other figures such as Rs 1,350; the official brochure says Rs 1,500.
Rules to remember
- Change of exam centre is not allowed after the form is submitted and fee paid.
- No change of category is allowed after the last date or after the result.
- Only applicants who paid the fee by the deadline are allowed to appear.
