Where results come from
Your rank or score comes from the exam you wrote: JEE Main, CUET UG or CUET PG, announced by NTA. UPTAC then publishes merit lists and seat allotments for its rounds.
What each result means for UPTAC
- JEE Main: the NTA rank or percentile is the base for B.Tech merit in the regular rounds.
- CUET UG and CUET PG: the NTA score is used for B.Pharm and similar programmes (CUET UG) and for MBA and MCA (CUET PG), per the brochure.
- UPTAC merit list: built after registration and document checks, and it is the list that decides allotment.
Scorecards to keep
Download and save your NTA scorecard, because UPTAC registration asks for it. Allotment letters from UPTAC are separate documents and must be printed after each round.
