UPTAC B.Tech 2026 cycle (as reported by news portals)

Reports say UPTAC B.Tech registration opened around 25 May 2026 and that the Round 1 registration deadline was extended to 30 June 2026 after an earlier 15 June date. Registration was described as a one-time step: it was not reopened for Rounds 2, 3 and 4. A special round 2 registration closed on 23 August 2026.

The same reports describe four main rounds, one internal sliding round and two special rounds. Dates are revised often, so use the 2026 pattern only to plan, and confirm each date on the live portal.
