SITEEE 2027 Preparation
Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official Symbiosis International notices
A one hour paper with no negative marking rewards speed and attempting every question.
Tips
- Revise NCERT-level Class 11 and 12 PCM thoroughly.
- Practise timed sets with about one minute per question.
- Attempt every question; set-test.org lists no negative marking.
- Use the sample papers on the SET portal.
- Take both test dates if you want a second chance at a better score.
- Prepare JEE (Main) in parallel since SIT also accepts it.
Time split for a 60 minute paper
| Section (reported) | Questions | Suggested time |
|---|---|---|
| Mathematics | 30 | 30 minutes |
| Physics | 15 | 13 minutes |
| Chemistry | 15 | 13 minutes |
| Review | - | 4 minutes |
Question split is as reported by Careers360. Confirm in the 2027 brochure.
Two-attempt plan
Book Test 1 only after a few full mocks, and treat it as a real attempt. Review the result of every section, then use the gap before Test 2 (8 days in 2026) to fix your weakest section. The better score counts, so the second attempt costs only the Rs 2,250 fee.
Mistakes to avoid
- Forgetting the Rs 1,000 SIT fee, without which you are not in any merit list.
- Spending too long on Physics and Chemistry when Mathematics carries half the reported marks.
- Skipping JEE (Main) and MHT CET, which are the back-up routes to engineering seats in Pune.
