NERIST NEE 2027 Preparation
Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology notices
NEE tests school-level syllabus with a quarter-mark penalty. Preparation depends on the level you choose.
Strategy
- NEE-I: Mathematics carries 80 of 150 marks. Practise Class 10 algebra, geometry, trigonometry and mensuration.
- NEE-II PCM: Maths is 60 marks with 15 two-mark questions, so do not neglect calculus and coordinate geometry.
- NEE-II PCM Science has 50 one-mark questions in each subject, so speed and accuracy matter most.
- NEE-III: Physics, Chemistry and Maths together are 80 marks, but the branch section is 70, so revise diploma-level core subjects too.
- The penalty is 25% of the question marks, so skip guesses between four options with no elimination.
