NERIST NEE 2027
NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III), North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology
NEE is the entrance examination of NERIST, Nirjuli. NEE-I after Class 10 leads to the Certificate module, NEE-II after Class 12 to B.Tech, B.Sc and BBA, and NEE-III after a diploma to lateral entry. Each paper is 150 marks in three hours.

Steps to apply

Choose your level
Decide between NEE-I, NEE-II (and which paper type) or NEE-III from your qualification.

Register online
Fill the form at nerist.ac.in or neeonline.ac.in. You can save and finish later within the window.

Pick reservation code
Select the correct reservation code for your state and category; a wrong code can lead to rejection.
- 4
Choose two exam centres
Give two centre choices. A centre may be cancelled or full, in which case your second choice is used.

Pay the fee
Pay online. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Submit
No changes to category, centre or other data are allowed after final submission.

The 2026 brochure lists 19 centres: Agartala, Aizawl, Dibrugarh, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Itanagar, Pasighat, Kohima, North Lakhimpur, Shillong, Silchar, Tezpur, Bomdila, Ziro, Aalo, Churachandpur, Namsai and Siliguri.
