How to approach it

  • Three hours for 120 questions is 90 seconds each.
  • Because a wrong answer costs 1, avoid blind guesses.
  • In multi-phase exams, attempting more than one phase can improve your best score; check if allowed.

Scoring across phases

As reported by Shiksha and CollegeDisha, scores are raw marks and are not normalised across phases. If you appear in more than one phase, your best score is used to give one merged rank. Each phase is a fresh paper, so a hard phase does not get any scaling benefit; treat every attempt as a full-length test.

A practical time split for 120 questions in 180 minutes is about 50 minutes per subject for 40 questions each, with the last 25 to 30 minutes kept for review. Start with the subject where you are fastest so that easy marks are banked early.
