Per Prospectus Part-II, the minimum cut-off for B.Tech admission on HPCET is 40 marks for the General category and 30 marks for reserved categories (out of 600). The JEE Main route needs 15 percentile (General) or 10 percentile (reserved). Percentage figures on some portals do not match this.

- Candidates in the JEE Main route use their JEE Main 2026 scorecard instead of an HPCET rank.
- Result date for 2026: 21 May 2026 was the tentative date in the prospectus.
