Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET), Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU)
HPCET is the Himachal Pradesh Technical University entrance test for engineering and pharmacy seats in HP institutes. The first half of B.Tech seats go by JEE Main merit and the other half by HPCET merit.

Verify name, photo, centre and exam timing.

Take a printout and report errors to the university at once.
Exam day checklist
- Carry the admit card and a photo ID.
- Fill the OMR sheet with the pen specified.
- Reach the centre before reporting time; late entry is generally not allowed.
Release and timing (2026)
The HPCET 2026 exam for B.Tech and B.Pharmacy ran on 10 May 2026 from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm per the prospectus, and the admit card was released online before it. Check himtu.ac.in a week before the exam.
Verify on the card
- Candidate name, roll number, category and course (B.Tech or B.Pharmacy).
- Photograph, signature, centre address and reporting time.
- Any mismatch with your Class 10 certificate should be reported to the university immediately.
