How seats are allotted
- The JEE Main 2026 Common Rank List is used as it is. DASA does not apply any tie-breaking rule.
- If several candidates share a rank and seats fall short, extra supernumerary seats are created for them.
- A seat is given to the highest possible choice considering your category tag, rank, choice order and seat availability.
Willingness options
| Option | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Freeze | Accept the seat and stop; no further rounds |
| Float | Keep the seat but accept a higher choice at any institute if offered |
| Slide | Keep the seat but accept a higher choice within the same institute |
| Surrender | Reject the seat and go to the next round for higher choices |
| Withdraw | Reject the seat and leave the process |
| Exit | For candidates with no seat who wish to leave the process |
Without any action, a candidate moves to the next round with Float. Round 2 allotments are treated as accepted.
