BCECE 2027
Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE)
BCECE is the combined entrance test of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The 2026 exam was held on 30-31 May with rank cards from 24 June; pattern, fee and dates follow the official 2026 prospectus.

Counselling steps

Register
Register on the counselling portal using your BCECE rank card details and pay the registration fee.

Fill choices
Fill and lock institute and branch choices in order of preference.

Seat allotment
Seats are allotted by rank, category and choices.

Accept and pay
Accept the seat online, pay the fee and download the allotment letter.

Report and verify
Report to the institute with original documents for verification.

Mop-up
Vacant seats are filled in a mop-up round. The 2026 mop-up result was revised by a notice dated 12 September 2026.
Rounds in 2026
The board's 2026 notices show at least three rounds followed by a mop-up for the engineering group, but the round count can change each year. Do not assume only two or three rounds.
Documents usually needed
- BCECE rank card and admit card.
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates.
- Bihar domicile and category certificates.
- Passport size photographs and ID proof.
