SNUSAT 2027 Preparation
Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official Shiv Nadar University notices
Prepare for a short, speed-focused aptitude test plus PCM basics. SNUSAT has 40 reasoning questions in 90 minutes, and B.Tech applicants add a 40 question APT in 60 minutes.
Preparation plan
- 1
Study the sample questions
Use the dashboard samples to understand the style and difficulty.
- 2
Practise reasoning daily
Do timed sets of quantitative and logical reasoning questions at about 2 minutes a question.
- 3
Revise PCM basics
For the APT, revise Class 11 and 12 Mathematics and Physics concepts and standard formulas.
- 4
Do a full mock
Practise 40 questions in 90 minutes, then 40 in 60 minutes, with a break between.
- 5
Check your set-up
Test webcam, internet and power backup before the slot.
Tips
- If you also have a JEE Main score, compare routes, as a good JEE Main percentile is another way to qualify.
- Multiple cycles let you retry, so use an early cycle as a trial if rules permit.
- Do not rely on third-party patterns; read SNU's instructions.
Scholarship focus
SNU's Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship of Rs 1 lakh a year in tuition waiver goes to top SNUSAT performers, so accuracy on the 40 reasoning questions has money value. Plan your mocks around accuracy first and speed second.
Weekly routine
- Four days: 20 quantitative and 20 logical reasoning questions, each section in 45 minutes.
- Two days: Mathematics and Physics sets of 20 questions in 30 minutes each for the APT.
- One day: review every wrong answer and note the pattern behind it.
