NATA has no counselling of its own. Seats are filled by state authorities and institutes.
How admission works
- 1
Get a valid score
Phase 1 scores are used for Centralised Admission Counselling (CAP). Phase 2 scores are for vacant seats after CAP.
- 2
Register with the state authority
Each state or UT has its own B.Arch registration, with its own dates and documents.
- 3
Merit list
Authorities may use the best raw score or the percentile score as per their rules.
- 4
Choice filling and allotment
Seats are allotted in rounds, and reporting and fee payment follow the state schedule.
- 5
Vacant seats
Seats left after all CAP rounds may be filled at institute level using Phase 1 or Phase 2 raw scores.
JoSAA route for B.Arch
If you want B.Arch at an NIT or SPA, appear in JEE Main Paper 2A and register for JoSAA. NATA is not accepted for those seats. Some NATA-based states, such as Goa and Kerala, also publish their own process on their official sites.
