Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (lateral entry to B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharmacy)
AP ECET is the Andhra Pradesh entrance test for diploma and B.Sc (Mathematics) holders who want to join the second year of B.E./B.Tech or B.Pharmacy. The 2026 test was held on 23 April 2026 and seats were filled through APSCHE online counselling.

Counselling is online and compulsory for any seat. It is run by APSCHE in phases after the result.
Counselling steps

Register and pay the processing fee
Rs 1,200 for OC and BC, and Rs 600 for SC and ST, paid online before certificate verification.

Certificate verification
Verification is done at help line centres or online as notified, using your rank card and certificates.

Enter web options
List colleges and branches in order of preference. You can change options in the window given.
- 4
Seat allotment
Seats are allotted by rank, category, local area and your option order.
- 5
Choose Freeze, Float or Slide
Then pay the tuition fee and self report. Missing a step cancels the seat.
2026 counselling timeline (reported)
- Registration and fee payment 4 to 8 July 2026; verification 6 to 10 July; web options 8 to 13 July.
- Phase 1 allotment was postponed more than once and reported around 24 July 2026.
- A final phase allotment was reported on 18 August 2026.
