OJEE 2027 Preparation

Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official OJEE Committee, Government of Odisha notices

Preparation depends on the course. This guide uses the B.Pharm and lateral-entry patterns.

Strategy

  • Read the course syllabus and the paper pattern first.
  • Practise in CBT mode, since the real test is on a computer.
  • Use the -1 marking wisely: answer what you know, skip the doubtful.
  • Make sure to attempt something in every section.

Subject tips

  • Physics: formulas, units and numericals from mechanics and electricity.
  • Chemistry: NCERT-based theory plus numericals in solutions and equilibrium.
  • Maths or Biology: choose the group where you score better, since only one is attempted.
  • Lateral entry: revise diploma-level engineering maths, mechanics and electrical basics.

Suggested plan for 2027

PeriodFocus
Nov to Dec 2026Complete the syllabus once; make notes
Jan to Feb 2027Revise, start topic tests, watch for the brochure
Mar to Apr 2027Full-length CBT mocks, apply before the deadline
Final 2 weeksRevision and error-log review; download the admit card

This is a suggested plan; the exam is expected around May 2027 but is not announced.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Leaving a whole section blank.
  • Applying for the wrong course group.
  • Ignoring the nativity and income certificate requirements for reservation.
  • Assuming OJEE is needed for first-year B.Tech.
