COMEDK UGET 2027 Preparation

Updated on 18 October 2026 · Compiled from official Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka notices

A CBSE-style syllabus, 180 MCQs and no negative marking mean speed and accuracy matter most.

Strategy

  • Cover Class 11 and 12 NCERT first, then practise MCQs.
  • Attempt every question because there is no negative marking.
  • Do the mock test provided on the website to learn the interface.
  • Practise timed full-length papers; 180 questions need roughly one minute each.

Subject-wise tips

  • Physics: formula-based, focus on mechanics, electricity and modern physics.
  • Chemistry: NCERT line by line, especially organic reactions and coordination chemistry.
  • Mathematics: calculus, matrices, vectors and probability give consistent marks.

  • Missing certificates that are needed at the time of application.
  • Ignoring Class 11 chapters, which carry about a third of the paper.

Frequently asked questions

Should I also write KCET?

Many Karnataka students do, since KCET covers government quota seats while COMEDK covers private seats.
