CAP Round 1 – Step-by-Step Process

Check CAP Round 1 Allotment Result

Log in to dtemaharashtra.gov.in with your application number and password. Navigate to 'Allotment Result' to see your allotted college and branch.

Review Allotted Seat

Carefully check the allotted college, branch, category seat type (Home University / Other than Home University / State level), and fee structure.

Choose Freeze / Float / Slide

Select your preference: Freeze to confirm the seat, Float to participate in upgrades in further rounds, or Slide to upgrade within same institute.

Pay Seat Acceptance Fee

Pay the online acceptance fee (approx. ₹15,000–₹25,000) within the specified deadline. Keep the payment receipt for records.

Download Allotment Letter

Download and print the official allotment letter from the portal. This is required for document verification at the institute.

Attend Document Verification (if Freeze)

If you chose Freeze, report to the allotted institute on the specified date for document verification and original document submission.

Wait for Round 2 (if Float/Slide)

If you chose Float or Slide, your current seat is retained and you participate in CAP Round 2 for a possible upgrade.

If you were not allotted a seat in CAP Round 1, you remained eligible for CAP Round 2, Round 3, and the final Round 4 automatically.
