Is a West Bengal domicile certificate mandatory for WBJEE 2026 counselling?

WB domicile is required for Home State quota seats at MAKAUT-affiliated and government colleges. For IIEST Shibpur (centrally funded), domicile is not required. Candidates from outside WB can apply under All India quota where available. Check specific college admission rules.

What category certificates are accepted for WBJEE 2026 OBC reservation?

West Bengal state OBC certificate (OBC-A or OBC-B as applicable) issued by the competent authority of West Bengal is required. Central OBC certificates are not accepted for state quota seats. Ensure the certificate is current and not expired.
