Yes, but with restrictions. 85% seats in Maharashtra engineering colleges (including VJTI and COEP) are reserved for Maharashtra state candidates (HSC or equivalent from Maharashtra). 15% seats are available for outside Maharashtra candidates (OMS). The OMS category has separate cutoffs, and competition is extremely high for these seats even among non-Maharashtra students.
5
Is there any way to get VJTI admission without 99.99 percentile in MHT CET?
Very few alternatives exist. If you have OBC-NCL certificate, OBC cutoff for VJTI CSE is ~99.97 (still very high). SC/ST candidates may have better chances at 98–99 percentile. Some students opt for VJTI's non-CSE branches (Civil, Production) which have lower cutoffs at 99.6–99.8. VJTI also offers some management quota seats at institutional level. There is no shortcut to VJTI — it requires exceptional percentile.
